Established in 1978 by Otto and Corine Bulk, Rosa Flora first grew only fresh cut hybrid tea roses. The business has passed from one generation to the next, and their expert team now grows large gerbera, mini gerbera, snapdragons, lisianthus, and stephanotis under millions of square feet of high-tech greenhouses, making them the largest greenhouse cut flower operation in Canada today. Rosa Flora is located in Dunnville Ontario.
Van Geest Bros. Limited
Van Geest Bros. Limited is a family-owned and operated business that started in 1959 at a one-acre greenhouse operation at 9 Kerman Avenue in Grimsby. They have since expanded to 300,000 square feet across 2 locations, the other being on Seventh Street South in St. Catharines. They began by growing Azaleas, Ferns and other potted crops. Today, their primary focus is providing quality fresh cut flowers: large and mini gerbera, alstroemeria, spray mums, and anthurium. Van Geest Bro’s is located in Saint Catharines, Ontario.
Cosmic Plants Inc.
CosMic Plants Inc. is an orchid greenhouse operation conveniently located between Vineland and Beamsville. It was established in 2004 and is operated by a team of valuable employees together with owners Neil and Mike van Steekelenburg. The name CosMic originates from the brothers names Cornelis (Neil) and Michael (Mike). CosMic produces Phalaenopsis Orchids in 5 inch pots and Mini Phalaenopsis Orchids in 2½ inch pots all year round. Their greenhouse facility is equipped with the most modern techniques to provide for a continuous supply of these beautiful flowering tropical plants. Cosmic is located in Grimsby, Ontario.
